The limits protect your account from a runaway loop. Each answer says where you stand.

The headers
Every answer to a key carries RateLimit-Policy: "requests";q=<per minute>;w=60 and RateLimit: "requests";r=<left>;t=<seconds>. Past the limit: 429 rate_limited with Retry-After.
