# The Python SDK

`vecsnap` does in Python what the Node.js SDK does: one call, the wait, one error type, webhook verification.

```bash
pip install vecsnap
```

```python
from vecsnap import VecSnap
vecsnap = VecSnap()  # reads VECSNAP_API_KEY
result = vecsnap.vectorize(file=open("logo.png", "rb").read(), filename="logo.png")
open("logo.svg", "wb").write(vecsnap.download(result))
print(result["result"]["anchorPoints"], "anchor points")
```

Every refusal raises `VecSnapError` with `code`, `status` and `request_id`. `verify_webhook(raw_body, headers, secret)` checks an event. The generated client for every operation is `vecsnap.api`.
